Modern maps highlighting Canadian cities
In April 2012, what began as a simple attempt to understand the architecture of Canada quickly evolved into a series of ten obsessively illustrated pieces. These illustrations take the form of modern maps, highlighting Raymond Biesinger's adopted city of Montreal, as well as his former city, Edmonton, and eight other Canadian cities at specific points in their history. On this poster, the city of Ottawa is in the spotlight, with a representation dating from May 7, 1945.
