Recommended maintenance
To ensure the longevity of the board, Blomus recommends treating the wood with oil if it is intended to be used with food. This will not only protect the wood from fading, but also prevent food odors and bacteria from adhering to the surface. Sunflower oil, olive oil or walnut oil are oils suitable for this treatment.

- Regularly apply oil to the wood if it comes into contact with food. This protects the wood from discoloration and prevents food odors and bacteria from growing on the surface of the wood.
- These wooden boards can be rinsed with hot water. However, avoid submerging them in water, as this could cause cracks to appear in the wood.
