Using new ceramic molds, Magpie has fashioned a set of espresso cups and saucers, glazed in the authentic Hornsea colors of the period. Each cup and saucer, made of stoneware and enameled by hand, is made unique by the artisanal process. In addition, they are practical on a daily basis, as they are dishwasher and microwave compatible, ensuring easy use.

The history of Hornsea Potteries, founded in 1949 by brothers Colin and Desmond Rawson, is punctuated by revolutionary creations which marked the landscape of British ceramics until its final closure in 2000.
