Sacré-Coeur Day School (Quebec)
The agency specializing in space planning, Taktik Design, has masterfully redefined the belvedere of the Sacré-Cœur day school, a previously unused space located on the mezzanine near the school's performance hall. This major transformation made it possible to create a multifunctional place, now serving as an event lounge for guests, a reception room, as well as a meeting point for teachers and various committees.
Taktik's ingenious design divided the premises into three distinct zones, thus optimizing the use of space according to different needs. Among these spaces, a relaxation lounge located against the windows evokes the atmosphere of an outdoor terrace, offering stunning views while creating a relaxing environment for users.
In collaboration with Nüspace, Taktik designed the lighting for the gazebo to complement this atmosphere, with Flute B lampshades lined up in a row. Made from strips of wood, these lampshades not only illuminate the space; they add a particular aesthetic touch, projecting plays of light which embellish and soften the atmosphere of the place.
